Workshops
Hands-on workshops conducted at universities introduce students to TouchDesigner and the world of generative, interactive media. Each session is thoughtfully structured based on duration and learning goals from quick introductory overviews to intensive, multi-week programs culminating in real-world creative outcomes.
Introduction to TouchDesigner - IIT Bombay, Mumbai
Date: 17th October 2023
Duration: 1 Day
A one-day introductory workshop that familiarized students with the fundamentals of TouchDesigner and its real-time, node-based environment. The session included hands-on exercises, live demonstrations, and discussions on the creative potential of generative art within the world of new media.

Introduction to TouchDesigner - IIT Kanpur, Kanpur
Date: 3rd March 2024
Duration: 3 Days
I led two workshops at IIT Kanpur. The first was a 3-day intensive introducing students to the fundamentals of generative art and TouchDesigner, with hands-on exploration of audio-reactive visuals and real-time design techniques.

The second was a 2-week credited online course specifically designed for second-year B.Tech students. Participants engaged deeply with all major TouchDesigner operators TOPs, CHOPs, SOPs, and DATs developing a strong grasp of interactive workflows. Their computer science backgrounds enriched the experience, with Arduino and robotics-based concepts culminating in a final exhibition of innovative and technically rich student projects.

Introduction to TouchDesigner - Rishihood University, Sonipat
Date: 13th April 2025
Duration: 2 Weeks
This was a 2-week physical workshop conducted on campus for students across disciplines at Rishihood University. We explored all major TouchDesigner operator families TOPs, CHOPs, SOPs, and DATs while introducing core concepts in generative design and interactive media.

Students engaged in hands-on learning around audio reactivity, motion tracking, MIDI mapping, AI integration, and MediaPipe-based interaction. The workshop encouraged experimentation beyond screens, culminating in a final exhibition where students presented projection-mapped installations that brought their ideas into immersive physical space.
